It is a non-allergenic pressure device and can be used as accessory device in various jeevan rakshak kits. 

The generic name of the device is Pressure Wrap. The overall weight of the splint is nearly 45 grams. 

Pressure wrap is latex free bandage is a standard daily use woven non-latex compression bandage used for sprains. It is used as an accessory material for holding flexi splint on the fractured bone tightly in place and immobilizing the limb. It is only accessory for Splint and not to be used separately. It is also a component of Snake Bite Management System.

It is provided by the industry in vacuum packed in Mil Grade 3 (Tri-layered) P:F:P material which is post-pack gamma sterilized and thus directly useful in field applications without any specific supervision. The pack itself provides bilingual & pictorial representation of how to use it, thus no specialized training is requisite.
