• It is provided by the industry in vacuum packed in Mil Grade 3 (Tri-layered) P:F:P material which is post-pack gamma sterilized and thus directly useful in field applications without any specific supervision. The pack itself provides bilingual & pictorial representation of how to use it, thus no specialized training is requisite. 
  

Trauma care literally means right care at the incident site. If a person gets injured and suffered minor trauma which could be life-threatening if not managed within golden hour, the pressure absorption injury management system is applicable. Putting pressure on the traumatic site with an absorbing interface allows natural healing process to become faster. Absorbing interface keeps natural coagulation factors remained in closest proximity to wounded site leading to control of bleeding trauma, subjected to class I or moderate cases of class II only. One such product based on this principle is Bleed Care (Haemostatic Gauze).

The generic name of the device is Bleed Care (Haemostatic Gauze) with 4.5”X 4.1 yards- 6 ply as dimensions. The half size of the standard gauze is referred as micro and 1/4th size is referred as mini gauze. The overall weight of the gauze is nearly 36 grams.

It expands dramatically, when opened as the capillary action caused by the threads and its nano-tubes act as a sink for oozing blood flow. However due to its design and vacuum sterile packing it doesn’t occupy much space in the jeevan rakshak kits.
